Plushie heaven

This week has been busy with regards to the old 9-5, however my crafting life has been a bit slow. I have to be honest and say I've been a little lazy this week. I have a fair coming up in April, only a tiny local one, so I know I should be stocking up so to speak. As it stands I just couldn't motivate myself this weekend. I did find myself sitting on-line and bought loads of beads and some tiny buckets that I think once filled and finished will make excellent Easter gifts. But overall... mass slowness! I have to be honest and say I'm having a perfection moment. I want everything to be absolutely perfect for this fair even if it is small. I am checking every detail 3 times over. If it doesn't get through the check due to a stray stitch or a misplaced eye, it ain't coming with me. Thus I haven't really been up to much. Must put the microscope down and do better things with my time!

Here are a few of the weeks makes.

Yep... yet more mini monsters
Another Owl, just because they are cute!

And apparently this guy wins first prize!

So as you can see, very slow week for me. However I have promised myself I will create more over the next week. Or at least try to. No point in making promises I can't keep right? ;)

Today sees the start of this weeks Handmade Monday so if you haven't already, get over there and check it out!

  1. Nothing wrong with being a perfectionist and sometimes it's better to take a step back and weigh something up before ploughing on ahead. The attention to detail on these is amazing esp. the stitching on the first pic

  2. That owl is so cute - love him! Hope you're feeling more motivated soon. If I can, I always try to make a start on the next day's tasks before finishing for the day. I find it's easier to get started then (always the hardest part of motivation!).

  9. I always promise myself that I will make lots of items this week and I always fail. I have started a diary of what I plan to make and when and I make sure I stick to it or I'm not allowed to make anything else until I have done my daily to-do list!

  10. They are really cute. Sometimes for me making comes in rushes - some weeks I seem to make loads and then others not so much. Don't worry about it - plus your stuff is so beautiful put down the magnifying glass! Mich x

  15. Those are really cute. I love little plushies. I have too many stuffed animals tho (my kids old ones, I cannot seem to let them go) and am trying to think of some fun way to display them. I wish they were little like the ones you make!
